Developing a PLN, Bridging the Digital Divide, and Using Academic Software

    In my early experience using Instagram in my Personal Learning Network I have realized how excited I am to be a teacher one day. I love seeing all of the creative and colorful room decorations as well as cute teacher outfits. The Instagram page that I really like is Sarah Poquette's account called _bigheartlittleminds_. I know that everyday teaching will not always look like these teacher insatgram accounts but I am excited for the possibility.      The digital divide is something I never thought about that much before I considered becoming a teacher. Assignment 5, Qualtrics Uses, & Old Tech Skills

      With Assignment 5 I learned how to make fun interactive games. Before this I had no idea that you could do that on PowerPoint. I was also pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to make the buttons. Next time I will save the buttons for last because I kept changing the layout of the slides and the buttons would stop working. I don't have any negatives about this assignment. It was explained well and easy to do. It is alos very applicable for teaching at any level. I will definitely be using it in the future.  here is a screenshot of my jeopardy home page     I can't really see myself using very many data collection tools in my future teaching career. I want to teach younger elementary students. Maybe I could use it to survey the parents on certain things that come up throughout the year. It could be used as a teacher review from the parents. AI Chatbots

      The website design assignment was fun for me to do! I liked being able to theme the site however I wanted. I wanted the design to be easy to follow but fun to look at. My website was for a kindergarten class and I used images and colors that gave garden type of feel. The only thing that I did not really like about the assignment was the application we used to make the website. It was a little hard to navigate and it did not let me move text around the way I wanted.
